"Now That KL Fest is Over"

It was the same time last year in July that I was struggling with organising KL Fringe Festival, I becoz I was doing it all by myself, which is crazy, but I tot I could start it small for the first year. My friends in Singapore and US keep telling me that I should continue and do the festival despite all the hardships, getting the artists together, looking for space to perform, people to handle technicals, run the front office and do promotions for publicity. Well, I did it with the help of few students, which in the end having to pay them too, so I have to use money from my own pocket which is crazy. I am not some rich kids with duit melimpah-limpah. But I did it, may be for the love of the arts. This year, we have to find a different way of organising the festival. Our moto is the same, giving space to young talents, hidden talents and people who could not make it to the main stage or whose works are not suitable for the main stage. So we are re-launching the festival, hoping that it will berjalan after Hari Raya Puasa.
